Rules of Play 

  • Saturday’s Round: The Sevierville Golf Club 

  • Sunday’s Round: Gatlinburg Golf Course 
    Tees: Gatlinburg Golf Course: Championship Division will play the blue tees. Open Division will play white tees. Senior Division (50+) will play the white tees. Super Senior (65+) will play gold tees. 

  • Out of Bounds: Defined by white states. The fence over the green on hole 5 is OB. Just outside the left fence on #7 is OB, as defined by the white stakes. The road behind hole 7(Dollywood Lane) and to the left of hole 8 and 9 is OB. The parking lot on any hole is OB. 

  • Bunkers Play: Rake and Place in effect. 

  • Recently Sodded Areas: Some areas across the course have had sod added to them, free relief, no closer to the hole must be taken if ball comes to rest against or on top of sod. Areas are marked by white stakes. 

  • Penalty Area: Defined by red lines or stakes. Hole 12: Penalty will be marked at the bottom of the hill. A Drop zone is marked at the bottom of the hill just short of the green.  

  • Open Division ONLY Rules: Triple Bogey Max on hole. 10% Rule in Effect. Scorecard Playoff (Most to Least Difficult Hole). 

  • Procedure: If there is any doubt as to procedure, players should invoke Rule 3-3 and play two balls. 

  • Scoring: The Scoring area will be in the Clubhouse near the back door.   

  • Pin Placements: Pins are Red Front, White Middle, and Blue Back.   

  • Playoff: Only in the event of a tie in a Championship Divisions there will there be a sudden death playoff on the course. In the event of a tie in the Open Division there will be a scorecard playoff starting with the most to least difficult hole.

  • Suspension of play: If play is suspended, golf carts will be alerted. At this point, you must immediately mark your ball and seek shelter. Play will be resumed when the message leaves the screen. Failure to comply too this procedure is automatic disqualification.
